Introduction — How to Apply the System

Up to this point, you have built a clear understanding of how world-class putting works.

You now understand the Three Universal Laws of Putting, and you know that every putt ultimately comes down to Line and Pace.

This is where understanding begins to translate into performance.

In this section, we move from understanding to application. You will learn, step by step, how to build a putting system that allows you to:
  • create a setup that supports the Three Universal Laws
  • develop a repeatable, reliable stroke
  • understand and apply line and pace
  • begin training toward world-class performance

This is not theory.

This is the same system used to coach players to world-class putting performance — refined, structured, and presented to you here in its most complete form.

When Irene first began working within this system, her putting was inconsistent.

Through applying these principles step by step, she developed a stroke that is controlled, repeatable, and capable of producing world-class numbers.

But just as importantly, her putting took on a different quality.

Her putting now has an almost artistic quality — line and pace working in harmony.

An almost seamless combination of calculation and feel.

As you begin working through this process, it is important to understand one thing.

This will feel new.

At first, you must be conscious, deliberate, and methodical in everything you do, applying each principle carefully and without rushing the process.

Take your time. Follow each step. Apply the instructions exactly as they are given.

More detail on exactly how to train this system is covered later in this section.

Over time, something important happens.

The movements begin to settle. The decisions become clearer. The feel becomes more natural.

What once required conscious thought becomes instinctive.

You begin to do it without thinking.

This is the process you are now going to follow — a clear, structured pathway built step by step.

Over the next sections, you will be guided through this system in a logical sequence.

This system can be learned in 10 simple steps.

Each step builds on the one before it, gradually developing the skills and control required for world-class putting.

Follow the sequence.

Apply the principles.

And your putting will improve.

This is where performance improves.

This is where world-class putting is built.
